The CW has released a new promo in recognition of International Transgender Day of Visibility. In the two-minute clip, Gotham Knights star Tyler Dichiara speaks on transgender representation, specifically in relation to Cullen Row, his character in The CW’s latest DC show.
Cullen Row is a trans character that has fought through a terrible home life to transition and has come out the other side happier for it (life of crime, fake murder charges, and other minor infractions aside). Dichiara is also trans, which only adds to his great fit for the role. He talks about the importance of seeing characters like Cullen on screen, in particular, played by actors like himself.
