A renewed partnership between FAN EXPO HQ and The Kubert School will provide expert professional development to new emerging artists! This opportunity is called FAN EXPO Creator Academy and will be available at events in Orlando, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, and Toronto.
These two forces have worked together to bring world-class creators and legendary artists to eager learners across North America. FAN EXPO HQ is one of the world’s biggest producers of comic conventions. Alongside this convention-creating powerhouse is The Kubert School, known for its extraordinary cartooning and graphic art curriculum. Combining these skill sets will bring the world of art and the world of fandom together.
Anthony Marques, the President of The Kubert School, was quoted as saying, “This is a wonderful opportunity to be able to present key components of our curriculum to individuals who might not be able to attend our full-time program.”

The Creator Academy is a separately ticketed half-day workshop that takes place before the FAN EXPO. If you are an aspiring arts professional this is the perfect opportunity to develop your skills, and portfolio while learning from the best of the best. Also taking place at the event, will be on-stage creator spotlights, panels, an interactive skills lab, and live learn-to-draw demos provided by The Kubert School. Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit the school’s booth for advice, reviews, and interviews with talented educators.
