IFC Films dropped a teaser trailer today for its upcoming film Paint. The film follows Carl Nargle, played by Owen Wilson, Vermont’s number-one public TV painter. Convinced he has it all: the women, the fame, and the money Nargle’s life is soon upended when a younger, better artist gets a chance to be in the spotlight and steals everything and everyone Carl loves.
Joining Wilson in Paint is Michaela Watkins, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Stephen Root, Ciara Renée, and Lucy Freyer. The film is written and directed by Brit McAdams. Wilson’s previous film credits include Marry Me, Wonder, Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, and The Grand Budapest Hotel.
