The official trailer has been released for the upcoming movie The Boogeyman, based off of Stephen King’s short story of the same name.

The movie follows Sadie and Sawyer Harper as they deal with the aftermath of the death of their mother. They begin to be terrorized by a supernatural entity “that preys on families and feeds on the suffering of its victims.” Make sure you check out the trailer below! It proves that this will be a nail-biting watch and not one for the faint-hearted.

The Boogeyman stars Chris Messina (Argo), Sophie Thatcher (Yellowjackets), David Dastmalchian (Dune), Marin Ireland (The Umbrella Academy), and Vivien Lyra Blair (Obi-Wan Kenobi).

The Boogeyman will be released in theaters June 2. We can’t wait to check it out!
