‘Like a Dragon: Ishin!’: Kenny Omega Announced as Trooper Card

SEGA and developer RGG revealed today that Kenny Omega will appear in Like a Dragon: Ishin with an Elite Generals Trooper Card!

Free at launch, Omega is one of many Trooper Cards available, Rahul Kohli was also announced as part of the pack. Though they aren’t playable characters in the game, they do have their own individual abilities that are based on each person when used in combat.

For Omega, his famous One Winged Angel wrestling move has been turned into the Essence of One-Winged Angel. The move cuts opponents down with a spin attack that leaves his feathers cutting through the air. Omega’s signature catchphrase “Goodbye, mwah! and Goodnight — Bang!” also flashes on the screen once defeated.

For Kohli, his ability is the Essence of Firestorm, it incinerates enemies with fiery waves of righteous anger.

The Elite Generals Trooper Card bundle will be free at launch but it is a DLC so you’ll have to download it separately after you’ve purchased the game itself. Like a Dragon: Ishin! launches February 21 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, and Steam.
