It’s almost time for another season with AFC Richmond!
Apple TV+ announced today that its history-making series Ted Lasso will be returning this spring! In a small sneak peek, what’s assumed to be our primary rivalry of the season is shown with Ted facing off against his former assistant coach and current public enemy number one, Nate Shelley. At the end of season 2, Nate fully abandons Ted and AFC Richmond after leaking the truth about Ted’s panic attack to the press, opting to become the head coach for West Ham United, the team owned by former Richmond owner and Rebecca’s ex-husband Rupert Mannion. And it looks like it’s about to go down between these two now-opposing forces.
Alongside Jason Sudeikis’ titular glass-half-full football coach, the series stars Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca, Brendan Hunt as Beard, Jeremy Swift as Higgins, Juno Temple as Keeley, Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent, Phil Dunster as Jamie Tartt, Nick Mohammed as Nate, and Sarah Niles as Dr. Sharon Fieldstone.
While no exact release date is set, Ted will be back on our screens soon enough!
