To close out an action-packed episode of AEW Dynamite, The Elite captured the AEW trios titles from Death Triangle in an Escalera de la Muerte match.
The trio are now two-time champions after originally winning the titles at All Out last September. They relinquished their titles after being suspended but made a thrilling return at Full Gear to the tune of “Carry on Wayward Son” by Kansas. Originally down 0-2, The Elite eventually evened the odds that tied the Best of 7 series 3-3, forcing a seventh match in Los Angeles at the Kia Forum.
