The Banshees of Inisherin dominated the 80th Golden Globe Awards in both nominations and wins. After receiving eight nominations across the categories total, the film from director/writer Martin McDonagh took home three wins.
Banshees was nominated for best motion picture, musical or comedy; best actor, musical or comedy (Colin Farrell); best supporting actor in a motion picture (Brendan Gleeson and Barry Keoghan); best supporting actress in a motion picture (Kerry Condon), best director (Martin McDonagh); best screenplay (McDonagh) and best score (Carter Burwell).
The film took home awards in the following categories:

This is Farrell’s second Golden Globe win after winning in 2009 for In Bruges, which was also directed by McDonagh and starred Gleeson as well. He was also nominated in 2017 for The Lobster.
