New ‘Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur’ Clip Shows Trouble at the Roller Rink
2023 is here, which means it’s Lunella Lafayette’s year as Disney Channel gears up to debut its television adaptation of Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. The series follows 13-year-old Lunella (Diamond White), aka Moon Girl, a super-genius who joins forces with her 10-ton dinosaur Devil (Fred Tatasciore) to protect the Lower East Side from villains. Ahead of the premiere next month, Disney Channel released a new sneak peek at the show.
The clip introduces viewers to another new foe that Moon Girl will face, this time at her family’s roller rink. She finds herself backed into a corner (quite literally) as she tries to figure out a way to defeat him. After a moment to think, she turns on some tunes (“IV. Sweatpants” by Childish Gambino) and gets to work.
The series is executive produced by Steve Loter, Laurence Fishburne, and Helen Sugland’s Cinema Gypsy Productions. Pilar Flynn and Disney Television Animation produce. Raphael Saadiq serves as executive music producer. Additional stars include Fisburne in a recurring role, Gary Anthony Williams, Alfre Woodard, Jermaine Fowler, Sasheer Zamata, and Libe Barer.
Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur premieres February 10 on Disney Channel, following shortly after on Disney+. Check out our panel highlights from NYCC and stay tuned for our interviews with the cast and creative team. Watch the sneak peek below:
