In another intriguing addition to an ever-growing cast, Jason Ritter will join Yellowjackets season 2! He will appear in one episode of the new season, with no word yet on who he is set to play or whether his path will cross with adult Shauna, who is played by his real-life wife, Melanie Lynskey. The two previously costarred in Hulu’s series Candy together earlier this year. Variety exclusively reported the news. Ritter cryptically teased fans via social media, which should only cause more spiraling among the show’s theory-obsessed fanbase.

Ritter joins previously announced new actors Elijah Wood, Lauren Ambrose, and Simone Kessell alongside returning stars Juliette Lewis, Tawny Cypress, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson, Steven Krueger, Warren Kole, and Kevin Alves.

Yellowjackets returns on March 26 at 9 p.m. ET on Showtime. Showtime subscribers will get the episode early via streaming on March 24. You can check out our other coverage of the series here!
