This season on Single Drunk Female, two iconic 1980s movie stars are set to team up again! Entertainment Weekly exclusively revealed that Molly Ringwald will guest star, joining series regular Ally Sheedy in a Breakfast Club reunion. Ringwald will play Alice, the sister-in-law that Carol (Sheedy) hates and the aunt that her daughter Sam (Sofia Black-D’Elia) loves.
The series follows Sam on her journey to sobriety as she deals with losing and gaining friends, difficult familial relationships, and the typical ups and downs of your 20s. The series has won praise for its depiction of addiction and for its LGBTQIA+ characters. The cast includes Rebecca Henderson, Sasha Compere, Lily Mae Harrington, and Garrick Bernard alongside Black-D’Elia and Sheedy.
Single Drunk Female will return in 2023 on Freeform. Season 1 is available now on Hulu.
