Henry Cavill Attached to Star In and Executive Produce Live-Action ‘Warhammer 40,000’ Series
It’s been a whirlwind couple of months for Henry Cavill. From reprising his role as Superman in Black Adam and announcing his return to the red-caped hero, to announcing he will exit Netflix’s The Witcher after season 3, and to announcing he will no longer be returning to Superman on December 14 … the announcements don’t stop there.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cavill is attached to star in and executive produce a live-action adaptation of Warhammer 40,000, a franchise the actor has been a long-time fan of.
While the deal has not been officially penned just yet, Amazon is apparently in the final stages to secure the rights for the science-fiction fantasy miniature wargame turned series for Prime Video. The only other attachment to the project is Vertigo Entertainment.
This project is early in development. Stay tuned with Nerds & Beyond for updates.
