Taylor Swift’s “Carolina” Nominated for Best Song at Critics Choice Awards

The Critics Choice Association (CCA) have announced the film category nominees for the 28th Annual Critics Choice Awards. Winners will be revealed during the Awards hosted by Chelsea Handler on Sunday, January 15 beginning at 7 p.m. ET.

Swifties will be excited to learn that Taylor Swift’s single “Carolina” written for the film Where the Crawdad’s Sing earned a nomination for Best Song. The song will be up against some heavy hitters including “Ciao Papa” from Pinocchio, “Hold My Hand” from Top Gun: Maverick, “Lift Me Up” from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, “Naatu Naatu” from RRR, and “New Body Rhumba” from White Noise.
