Today, the nominees for the 80th annual Golden Globe Awards were announced, recognizing achievements across film and television as chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

Hulu’s limited series Pam & Tommy has received a total of four nominations:

  • Best Television Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television
  • Best Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Television Motion Picture – Sebastian Stan
  • Best Actress in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Television Motion Picture – Lily James
  • Best Supporting Actor in a Television Limited Series/Motion Picture – Seth Rogen

Pam & Tommy is set in the “Wild West” early days of the internet, following the infamous true story of the sex tape of Pamela Anderson (Lily James) and Tommy Lee (Sebastian Stan). After it was stolen from the couple’s home by a disgruntled contractor (Seth Rogen), the video evolved from an underground bootleg-VHS curiosity to a full-blown global sensation once it made its way onto the web in 1997.
