DC’s Stargirl is about to go on her last mission. The CW has announced that the series will end after the current third season, as reported by Deadline.

The series stars Brec Bassinger as the titular Stargirl aka Courtney Whitmore, as she and her friends as the new JSA fight to keep their town of Blue Valley safe from villains. Season 3 saw the return of Starman (Joel McHale), who was thought to be dead, and who also takes on a more prominent role in helping the new JSA. This news comes not long after it was announced Nancy Drew will be ending after its upcoming season. The Flash and Riverdale will also be ending in 2023.

Yvette Monreal, Anjelika Washington, Cameron Gellman, Trae Romano, Hunter Sansone, Meg DeLacy, Alkoya Brunson, Neil Hopkins, Joy Osmanski, Amy Smart, and Luke Wilson also star.

The series finale of DC’s Stargirl is set to air on Wednesday, December 7 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW. Check out the rest of our Stargirl coverage here.
