It’s a sad day for the Drew Crew. The CW has announced that Nancy Drew‘s upcoming fourth season will be its last. The drama series featuring Nancy Drew (Kennedy McMann) and her friends fighting crime and supernatural beings in Horseshoe Bay, Maine has built up a devoted audience of “Drewds” during its first three seasons, even launching the spin-off series Tom Swift. There is no word yet on a premiere date for its final season, but its writers have promised that there is “a worthy and resonant payoff” for its fans.

Nancy Drew also stars Alex Saxon, Tunji Kasim, Maddison Jaizani, Leah Lewis, Scott Wolf, and Riley Smith. The first three seasons are available to stream now on HBO Max, with season 4 expected to premiere in 2023. You can read more of our coverage here, including a deep dive into the series’ groundbreaking and important mental health storylines and its appeal for fans of classic “Scooby Gang” shows.
