Normal People star Paul Mescal is set to lead the new thriller A Spy By Nature! The film is based on the Alec Milius series of novels by Charles Cumming, which follow the titular spy as he balances his high stakes career with his domestic life. A Spy By Nature will be directed by Kevin Macdonald and written by Joseph Charlton and John Hodge.
Mescal has recently earned rave reviews for his starring roles in Aftersun and God’s Creatures. He will next be seen in Carmen, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, and Foe, which has not announced a release date yet.
