There’s just over a week left until the season 6 premiere of Big Mouth, and a new cast member has been confirmed. The show recently announced that Jeff Goldblum will be part of the voice cast for the new season.
Goldblum will voice a fancy new tech gadget called the Apple Brooch. There’s no further specifics on what exactly the item is, but the show has promised it is “irresistible.” Given the general nature of the show and the way tech has come into play in prior seasons, viewers can likely expect the Apple Brooch to bring its fair share of chaos. And who better than Jeff Goldblum to voice it?
Big Mouth follows the lives of a group of teens as they navigate puberty and the challenges that come with it. Most plot details are being kept under wraps for the new season, but we know that this season’s theme will be family-centric. Maury’s pregnancy from Human Resources will also carry into the show.
The series was created by Nick Kroll, Jennifer Flackett, Mark Levin, and Andrew Goldberg. The voice cast features Kroll, John Mulaney, Ayo Edebiri, Maya Rudolph, Jessi Klein, Jason Mantzoukas, Jordan Peele, Fred Armisen, and more.
Earlier this year, Netflix renewed the show for a seventh season, which currently does not have a set release window. Season 6 premieres on October 28. Keep up with our coverage here.
