Multiple Emmy Award winner Dan Levy is making his feature directorial debut with Good Grief! Levy is writing the script, and this will also be the first movie project under his Not A Real Production Company deal with Netflix.

Good Grief will tell the story of Marc Dreyfus. With the recent death of his mother, Marc has chosen to run from his grief rather than face it. He chooses marriage to keep himself busy, but this plan soon fails when his husband dies suddenly. Now facing two extreme losses so close together, Marc has no choice but to deal with this overwhelming grief. Marc’s way of processing is by taking his two best friends on a weekend trip to Paris. This trip will be an unforgettable weekend of self-discovery and hopefully healing.

Levy has built a talented cast with heavy hitters like Academy Award nominee Ruth Negga, Himesh Patel, Luke Evans, Celia Imrie, Arnaud Valois, David Bradley, and Jamael Westman. No release date has been announced yet.
