‘Violent Night’: Watch the Official Trailer Now

Share:

This Christmas its not a silent night, nor is it a holy night. It’s a Violent Night.

The R-rated film follows Santa Claus as he must save a kidnapped family from mercenaries on Christmas Eve. Violent Night is directed by Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters‘ Tommy Wirkola. The script is penned by Sonic the Hedgehog screenwriters Patrick Casey and Josh Miller, with 87North, the production company behind John Wick and Bullet Train, backing and David Leitch and Kelly McCormick executive producing.

The film stars Stranger Things and Black Widow star David Harbour as the not-so-jolly Saint Nick, in addition to John Leguizamo (John Wick), Cam Gigandet (Without Remorse), Alex Hassell (Cowboy Bebop), Alexis Louder (The Tomorrow War), Edi Patterson (The Righteous Gemstones), and Beverly D’Angelo (National Lampoon’s Vacation franchise).

Suffice to say, we all better hope we’re on the nice list this year.

Watch the official trailer below. Violent Night releases in theaters on December 2. Stay tuned with Nerds & Beyond for updates.
