Jinkies! A new iteration of Scooby-Doo legend Velma Dinkley is coming soon to HBO Max, and the upcoming series, aptly titled Velma, has received its first poster! It features Velma’s signature glasses, but this time with a bloody twist.

Velma was first confirmed nearly a year ago and is currently set for a 10-episode first season. It will dive into the origin story of the title character, who will be voiced by Mindy Kaling. Per HBO Max, the show will “unmask the complex and colorful past of one of America’s most beloved mystery solvers.” While earlier iterations of the character were more family-friendly, this new version is geared specifically towards adults.

Kaling, Charlie Grandy, Sam Register, and Howard Klein executive produce, with Grandy acting as showrunner. Warner Bros. Animation produces. Velma also marks the second series Kaling will release with HBO Max, following The Sex Lives of College Girls, which premieres its second season next month.

If you’re heading to New York Comic Con this weekend, be sure to hit the Velma panel on Thursday, October 6 at 3:30 p.m.

The show does not yet have a release date, but it’s expected to premiere sometime next year. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available. Check out the poster below:
