Samara Weaving will lead the action-horror film Azrael by director Evan Katz and writer Simon Barrett.
Details are being kept under wraps for now, but according to an exclusive report by Deadline, producers are hopeful it could turn into a franchise. Weaving has become the 21st-century fan favorite final girl, recently starring in The Babysitter: Killer Queen, Ready Or Not, Scream 6, and Borderline. Weaving will also star opposite Margot Robbie and Brad Pitt in the upcoming star-studded Babylon.
