Jennifer Lopez is set to star in Netflix’s The Mother, a thriller that sees her taking on the role of an assassin.
In The Mother, Lopez plays a deadly female assassin who comes out of hiding to protect the daughter that she gave up years before while on the run from dangerous men. The film also stars Joseph Fiennes, Lucy Paez, Omari Hardwick, Paul Raci, and Gael García Bernal.
In the teaser, Lopez is training outside in the dead of winter because there’s no love like a mother’s, right? “You saw what was out there. It’s gonna keep coming. If there’s trouble, come find me.”
