Tubi has announced a new addition to its slate, Spread, that stars Elizabeth Gillies and Harvey Keitel.
Based on the real life experience of writter/co-producer Buffy Charlet, Gillies will star as an aspiring journalist who lands a temp job at an adult magazine run by an aging industry leader (Keitel). In order to help the company flourish, she must harmonize with her idealism.
Spread also stars Tubi Original Movie starring Diedrich Bader (Veep), Bryan Craig (Good Trouble) Teri Polo (Meet the Parents), Blake Harrison (The Inbetweeners), Tim Rozon (Schitt’s Creek) and Keith Walker (The Upshaws). Ellie Kanner will direct.
Production on Spread is underway with a premiere set for 2023.
