The 2022 Emmy Awards have arrived, and the groundbreaking Netflix Korean drama Squid Game made history, sweeping the award ceremony with 14 nominations and six Emmy wins, including Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series and Outstanding Directing For A Drama Series.

The Korean drama from Netflix follows a group of adults facing high-stakes financial problems. When they accept an invitation to participate in a series of children’s games for a tempting cash prize, they quickly learn that playing comes at a deadly price. The series will have a second season, but there is no word yet when the new season will air.
