Journey Back to the North Pole With the First Teaser and Release Date for ‘The Santa Clauses’

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas, as Disney released the first look at their upcoming series The Santa Clauses.

The teaser, released as part of the D23 celebration, grants fans a nostalgic glimpse into the North Pole we fell in love with in the original Santa Clause films. Complete with Tim Allen back as Santa and Elizabeth Mitchell as Mrs. Claus, the magic of the place isn’t lost in the brief glimpse the teaser offers. However, there does seem to be a problem — Scott is retiring from being Santa!

The teaser offers a glimpse into the elves’ reactions to that news as well as a fun look at one of the applicants to be the new Santa: Peyton Manning. If this teaser is any indication, the heart and humor fans adored from the films will carry through to the show.

The first two episodes of the show will drop on November 16, but until then check our the teaser below, and if you pay attention you may even spot the return of one of our favorite elves.

LeeAnn is children's librarian who joined Nerds and Beyond in 2020 as a way to stretch her writing skills and connect with others who have the same pop culture passions as she does. She loves music, reading (obviously), and any TV show that can grab and hold her attention. Currently some of her favorite things to nerd out over include Supernatural, Prodigal Son, Louden Swain and Percy Jackson (books, theater, or upcoming show - lets leave the movies out of it).
