As part of D23, Disney and Pixar have announced their latest film Elio! Elio will follow the adventures of the titular human boy (voiced by Yonas Kibreab), “who finds himself transported across the galaxy and mistaken for the intergalactic Ambassador for our planet Earth.” America Ferrera will voice Elio’s mother, Olga Solis. Disney and Pixar also released a first look at the film.
Elio will be directed by Adrian Molina and produced by Mary Alice Drumm. It will beam into theaters in 2024.
