‘Ted Lasso’: New York Comic Con Exclusive Coach Beard Funko Pop! Revealed

A long and exciting list of upcoming Funko items exclusive to New York Comic Con was revealed today, including AFC Richmond’s very own Coach Beard!

Straight out of his solo episode from season 2 of Ted Lasso, “Beard After Hours,” comes Brendan Hunt’s Coach Beard — caught in glorious, mid-hula hooping action while wearing the pair of pants he pilfered on his chaotic late-night journey.

The lineup of Ted Lasso Funko Pop! collectibles continues to grow, following the San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Ted figure. Additional figures from the show were also teased during a panel at SDCC, but they’re not yet available for pre-order.

Ted Lasso follows the story of a small-time college football coach from Kansas hired to coach a professional soccer team in England, despite having no experience coaching soccer. The series stars Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Brendan Hunt, Brett Goldstein, Juno Temple, Nick Mohammed, Phil Dunster, Jeremy Swift, and more.

A third season is currently in the works, and seasons 1 and 2 are streaming exclusively on Apple TV+. Check out our season 2 review here.
