The requests seem to have been heard at the Funko headquarters, because everyone’s favorite biscuit-baking optimist — with the best mustache in the English Premiere League — has finally joined the Pop! ranks.

As a part of today’s San Diego Comic-Con limited edition reveals, Funko announced that a vinyl figure of Ted Lasso‘s titular star (whom the series is named after) will be one of this year’s convention exclusives.

Ted Lasso follows the story of a small-time college football coach (portrayed by Jason Sudeikis) from Kansas who’s hired to coach a professional soccer team in England, despite the fact that he knows next to nothing about the sport. However, what he lacks in experience, he makes up for with his neverending enthusiasm (and his Ted-isms).

The series also stars Hannah Waddingham, Brendan Hunt, Jeremy Swift, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Phil Dunster, Nick Mohammed, and more.

A release date has not yet been confirmed for the third season of this award-winning series, but seasons 1 and 2 are currently streaming exclusively on Apple TV+. Check out our season 2 review here.

This year’s San Diego Comic-Con will take place July 21-24 at the San Diego Convention Center in California. Follow Funko on Twitter for announcements on more convention exclusives!
