‘Smallville’s Tom Welling and Erica Durance Heading to New York Comic Con

This year’s edition of New York Comic Con has added quite the super duo, and we won’t need somebody to save us this time around. Smallville duo Tom Welling and Erica Durance are the latest guest announcements for the con. They will be around to meet fans for autographs and photo ops on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Welling and Durance are known for portraying Clark Kent/Superman and Lois Lane on Smallville, which ran for 10 seasons total from 2001-2011. The series primarily followed Clark Kent, a teenager who struggles to find his place as he juggles his powers, school, and family matters. Throughout the show’s run, viewers watched as Clark came into his own as just himself and a hero of Smallville and the world. The pair reprised their roles for The CW’s Arrowverse crossover “Crisis on Infinite Earths.”

Additional guests scheduled to attend the convention include Brendan Fraser, Oscar Isaac, cast from Shadow & Bone, cast from Outlander, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds duo Anson Mount and Melissa Navia, and more.

New York Comic Con takes place from October 6-9 at the Javits Center. Single day and digital tickets are still available, with photo ops and some autographs available for purchase here. For more information, visit the NYCC website.
