Swearingen was a key player in Kenner’s acquisition of the Star Wars toy line and was the principal conceptual designer for the line. Along with Star Wars, he has worked on other iconic lines from the Easy Bake Oven, PlayDoh, Strawberry Shortcake, and many more. Throughout his career, he’s also done work on officially licensed products for films such as Jurassic Park and Men in Black, among others.

Cincinnati Comic Expo takes place from September 23-25 at the Duke Energy Convention Center. Admission tickets are available now, with photo ops available for purchase here. Autographs are not available online, but pricing and other information can be found here. For more information on the expo, visit their website.
