‘Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return’ Behind-the-Scenes Documentary Announced

With just over two weeks to go until Disney+ Day, the streaming service has announced a variety of titles that will be arriving on September 8. Most notably for Star Wars fans, a behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of Obi-Wan KenobiObi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return — is finally coming.

Set 10 years after Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, Obi-Wan Kenobi sees Ewan McGregor reprise his role as the iconic Jedi Master alongside Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, following his fall to the dark side as Sith Lord Darth Vader.

This special explores the return of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker to the screen, as well as Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen to their classic roles. Director Deborah Chow leads the cast and crew as they create new heroes and villains that live alongside new incarnations of beloved ‘Star Wars’ characters, and an epic story that dramatically bridges the saga films.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return will land exclusively on Disney+ on September 8. In the meantime, all six episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi are now streaming. Brush up on the series ahead of the special with our episodic recaps.
