This past weekend, FAN EXPO Boston was in full swing for three exciting days jam-packed with pop culture fun at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. Ewan McGregor, who has recently begun to dip his toes into the world of conventions, was in attendance on Saturday and Sunday for photo ops, autographs, and an exciting panel that closed out the weekend’s events.
While some may recognize McGregor from his roles in titles such as Moulin Rouge! and Trainspotting, fans of the Star Wars universe know him as the Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. Following Alec Guinness’ original portrayal of Obi-Wan, McGregor brought forth a younger version of the character in the prequel trilogy. Recently, he reprised his role in the hit Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi, which takes place 10 years after Revenge of the Sith.
McGregor stepped out onto the stage late Sunday afternoon to meet a large crowd full of lightsabers, cosplays from a galaxy far, far, away, and endless excited faces. See below for photos from his panel!
