‘Abbott Elementary’ Season 2 Premiere Date, Promo, and Poster Revealed

Abbott Elementary was an instant hit among audiences season 1, so much so that it procured an outright full season 2 order earlier this summer. The season 2 premiere date along with a new promo and the poster for the upcoming season has finally been revealed by ABC. Abbott Elementary will be back on September 21!

Created, executive produced, and starring Quinta Brunson, the seven-time Emmy-nominated Abbott Elementary follows new teacher Janine Teagues (Brunson) and her zany colleagues’ adventures trying to make a difference at Abbott Elementary, an underfunded public school in Philadelphia.

Abbott Elementary season 2 premieres on September 21 in a new Wednesday timeslot at 9 p.m. ET. Season 1 is currently available to stream on Hulu. Stay tuned for our episodic recaps and other continuing coverage!
