Busch Gardens’ Bier Fest Returns!

Busch Gardens’ Bier Fest has returned, with the festive event starting on August 12 and running through September 5. We got the chance to attend the Bier Fest on opening night, and it was a blast!

First, the festival starts off with an all-new festival menu with more than 70 brews and food. The booths are scattered all around the park, including in places such as near the Festival Walkway and Bird Gardens, Stanleyville, Pantopia, and Egypt parts of the park.

The Bird Gardens and near the Festival Walkway hold most of the booths, where there are also some fun photo opportunities and a stage, which included a live band area.

The food and the drinks (21+, they’re alcoholic) were incredible, notably, the Keel Farms Agrarian Two Henrys Mango Cider, which you can find at the Ciders & Sours booth near the Bird Gardens. Other favorites included the Cigar City Homemade Apple Pie Cider, and the Flying Boat Raspberry Passionfruit Sour.

For food, we really loved the Bratkartoffeln, which consisted of Fried Potatoes, Chives, Caramelized Onions, and Bacon Bits.

Over near ShieKra at the Zambia Smokehouse, their Brisket Poutine was also so good. It had Cheese Curds, Seasoned Kettle Chips, and Brown Gravy. Other favorites include the Pork Sliders, Pretzel Bratwurst, and even the Black Forest Pretzel.

All of the food was fresh and incredibly tasty. There’s also so much to enjoy with the festival as you snack and drink. Browse around the park and see the beautiful wildlife, or take a ride on some of their thrilling rides, including the newest ride, Iron Gwazi.

Make sure to check out Busch Gardens’ Bier Fest, running until September 5. You can get more information and purchase tickets, here.
