Van lives … again! Everyone’s favorite un-killable teenager is confirmed to survive to adulthood on Yellowjackets as Lauren Ambrose is set to play her adult self in season 2. Ambrose is best known for her roles on Six Feet Under and Servant.

The hit series follows the members of a high school girls’ soccer team in the aftermath of a plane crash in the wilderness. Flashing forward in time to 20 years after the crash and back to the time immediately after, Yellowjackets slowly reveals what exactly happened to the girls who survived — and those who did not.

Fans frequently joked about poor Van’s ability to get herself into near-death situations during season 1, with her character notably absent in the future timeline. Ambrose’s casting proves that Van made it back to civilization somehow. Liv Hewson, who plays teenage Van, has also been promoted to series regular.

Yellowjackets also stars Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Juliette Lewis, and Tawney Cypress as the adult crash survivors, alongside Hewson, Ella Purnell, Samantha Hanratty, Sophie Thatcher, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Sophie Nelisse as some of the teenagers. No premiere date has been announced yet for the second season.
