Carla Gugino in 'Jett'/Cinemax

Zelda Williams’ directorial debut Lisa Frankenstein has added several new cast members! Deadline is reporting that Carla Gugino, Liza Soberano, Joe Chrest, and Henry Eikenberry have been added to the cast in undisclosed roles. They join the previously announced Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse as the film’s leads. Willams also confirmed the casting on her Twitter account.

Set in 1989, Lisa Frankenstein is a horror comedy that follows a teenage girl (Newton) who accidentally reanimates a Victorian corpse (Sprouse) and begins to create her perfect man. The screenplay was written by Diablo Cody, who also wrote the acclaimed Jennifer’s Body. There is no release date set for the project yet.
