Oscar Isaac to Attend New York Comic Con

Share

Following an epic run in Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight, Oscar Isaac has just been announced as this year’s headlining guest at New York Comic Con (NYCC).

This news marks an extremely rare convention appearance for Isaac, who is currently participating in a send-in autograph signing with SWAU. Isaac is known for his portrayal of Resistance pilot Poe Dameron in the Star Wars sequel films, having joined the franchise in 2015 with Star Wars: The Force Awakens. And in addition to masquerading as the Fist of Khonshu on Disney+, Isaac’s other recent roles include The Card Counter, DuneScenes From a Marriage, Big Gold Brick, and The Addams Family 2.

He recently received his first Emmy nomination for his work in Scenes From a Marriage.

Isaac will be participating in photo ops and autograph sessions with fans on Saturday and Sunday during NYCC, and he will also appear in a spotlight panel scheduled for Sunday, October 9.

Other confirmed guests currently include Freddie Prinze Jr., Felicia Day, James and Oliver Phelps, R.L. Stine, Leigh Bardugo, and more. Stay tuned to see who else gets added to the guest list as the convention gets nearer!

NYCC will take place October 6-9 at the Javits Center in New York City. Tickets are now on sale to the general public.
