The Turtles are Back as ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem’ Gets a Release Date

Share:

Everyone’s favorite teenage turtles are headed back to the big screen next year!

An upcoming CG-animated film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem was first announced last year by producer Seth Rogen. Yesterday, Rogen confirmed that the film will release in one year, on August 4, 2023. Plus, he dropped some wonderful new comic-esque artwork for the film, that you can check out below!

The new animated project will be co-produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio under the Nickelodeon Movies banner, Paramount Animation, and Rogen’s production company, Point Grey Pictures. With The Mitchells vs. the Machines‘ Jeff Rowe directing and a screenplay by Brendan O’Brien, the movie’s plot is still largely under wraps.

LeeAnn is children's librarian who joined Nerds and Beyond in 2020 as a way to stretch her writing skills and connect with others who have the same pop culture passions as she does. She loves music, reading (obviously), and any TV show that can grab and hold her attention. Currently some of her favorite things to nerd out over include Supernatural, Prodigal Son, Louden Swain and Percy Jackson (books, theater, or upcoming show - lets leave the movies out of it).
