Kit Harington to Appear at ‘Game of Thrones’ Los Angeles Convention

Following its initial postponement earlier this year, fans can now look forward to attending the first ever Game of Thrones Official Fan Convention (hosted by Creation Entertainment and Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment) on December 9-11, 2022 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Joining the already star-studded lineup is Jon Snow himself, Kit Harington! Harington was recently revealed to be reprising his iconic role in a spin-off series. George R.R. Martin later confirmed that the idea for the show, which is currently going under the working title Snow, came from Harington.

Previously announced convention guests include Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), Jack Gleeson (Joffrey Baratheon), Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane), Kristian Nairn (Hodor), Daniel Portman (Podrick Payne), Gemma Whelan (Yara Greyjoy), and Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark). Hosts for the weekend include Jason Concepcion and Greta Johnsen, who are also the hosts of the upcoming The Official Game of Thrones Podcast: House of the Dragon, which is due to launch tomorrow.

The Game of Thrones Official Fan Convention will offer guests a variety of activities to indulge in throughout the weekend as they revisit the world of Westeros and beyond, including engaging panels and discussions, along with opportunities to get up close and personal with the stars in meet and greets, autograph signings, and photo ops. Other events including cosplay contests, trivia competitions, and an evening dance party hosted by none other than special guest, DJ Kristian Nairn.

Game of Thrones is now currently available to stream on HBO Max (and all eight seasons were recently re-released on the platform in 4K Ultra HD, HDR 10, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for select devices). The prequel series, House of the Dragon, will premiere later this month on August 21.
