The Weeknd Teams Up With Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights

It has been announced that The Weeknd has teamed up with Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights to create a haunted house inspired by his music. The house will be available to Halloween Horror Nights guests at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.

“The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare” haunted house is inspired by his After Hours album. The album includes popular tracks “Too Late,” “Heartless,” “In Your Eyes,” and “Blinding Lights.” Within the haunted house, select tracks from this album will be reimagined as a horror soundtrack as guests are launched into a surreal world that has come straight from The Weeknd’s imagination. Inspired by his music and short films, guests will encounter slashers, bandaged maniacs, gruesome toad-like creatures, and other horrors.

“I always wanted my own Halloween Horror Nights haunted house as Halloween has always been significant to my music, so this is a total dream come to life. I feel like my music videos have served as a launching pad for a collaboration like this, and I cannot wait for people to experience this madness!” said Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye.

“The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare” will open at Universal Orlando Resort on September 2 and at Universal Studios Hollywood on September 8, when Halloween Horror Nights begins. Both events will run on select nights through October 31. Tickets for Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood nights are on sale now, including special events such as the R.I.P. Tour. Make sure you head over to get yours now! For more information, check out the Halloween Horror Nights website.
