‘Kung Fu’: Kim Rhodes and Ben Levin Added to Recurring Cast for Season 3

Kung Fu fans, some familiar CW faces are coming your way in season 3! As reported by Deadline, Kim Rhodes (Supernatural) and Ben Levin (Legacies) have been added as recurring characters in the upcoming season.

Rhodes will portray Carrie (throwback to her Suite Life days), “a blunt, funny professional who works as a representative for a large restaurant investment group. When Carrie’s company takes an interest in Harmony Dumplings, Mei-Li (Kheng Hua Tan) is quick to decline their overtures, but when an unexpected friendship blooms between her and Carrie, Mei-Li opens herself up to a possible alliance.”

Levin will play Bo, “a barista/vigilante who lives across the Bay in Oakland. He’s cool, smart, and strong with a jack-of-all-trades fighting style. His extracurricular crime-fighting leads to a collision with Nicky (Olivia Liang) and her siblings. New in town and far from home, Bo’s eager to pitch in with the Shen family’s adventures, and to fight by Nicky’s side.” With Nicky and Henry broken up, will Bo be Nicky’s newest partner in crime?

Kung Fu follows Nicky Shen, a young Chinese-American woman who, in the midst of a quarter-life crisis, fled to a monastery in China for three years — only to return to her home changed, with crime and injustice terrorizing her neighborhood. With the help of her family and friends, Nicky takes to the streets with her Shaolin training to protect the community and people around her while seeking justice for wrongs committed against her Shifu, who was murdered in China.

The CW action-adventure/drama features Olivia Liang, Eddie Liu, Shannon Dang, Jon Prasida, Kheng Hua Tan, Gavin Stenhouse, Vanessa Kai, Tony Chung, Tzi Ma, Yvonne Chapman, Vanessa Yao, Annie Q., Ludi Lin, JB Tadena, and Kee Chan in addition to the two newest actors.

Kung Fu season 3 premieres on The CW on October 5. It will continue to air in its normal timeslot at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT on The CW. As always, make sure to stay up to date with all of our coverage here, and stay tuned for more updates!
