Two Chris Pine films Smokin’ Aces and This Means War are heading to Peacock on August 1!

This Means War follows Pine and Tom Hardy, who play inseparable best friends that work as C.I.A. operatives. Their abilities and combat skills rank them high in the CIA elite but their bond is tested when they meet Lauren (Reese Witherspoon). FDR and Tuck both fall for her, turning their deadly skills and an array of high-tech gadgetry against each other in a battle for her love.

Smokin’ Aces follows Mob boss Primo Sparazza who has taken a contract out on Las Vegas magician and would-be crime boss Buddy “Aces” Israel. Israel agrees to testify against former partner and friend Sparazza in return for protection in the Witness Protection Program. While the FBI is working to keep Israel alive to get information on Sparazza, all eyes are on Lake Tahoe, Israel’s hideout, and it entices ex-cons and cons-to-be.

The film stars Ray Liotta as Agent Carruthers, Ryan Reynolds as Agent Messner, Ben Affleck as Jack Dupree, Alicia Keys as Georgia Sykes. Pine’s role as one of the Tremor brothers, Darwin, is relatively small but exceedingly trashy.
