‘The Rookie’: Tru Valentino Promoted to Series Regular for Season 5
As announced by Deadline, Tru Valentino will be back in season five of The Rookie and as a series regular!
His character, Aaron Thorsen, first appeared in season four as a rookie who was training with Mekia Cox’s Nyla Harper. Aaron spent the season navigating being a rookie after being falsely arrested for his best friend’s murder. His past acted both as a personal motivator and as a hindrance due to criticisms from his fellow officers and the public.
