Kali Reis Joins Jodie Foster in ‘True Detective’ Season 4
With the announcement that the fourth season of True Detective received the greenlight from HBO, a new cast member is joining Jodie Foster on the crime series.
Kali Reis (Catch the Fair One) is joining True Detective: Night Country as Detective Evangeline Navarro alongside Foster playing Detective Liz Danvers.
The series takes place in Alaska where Navarro and Danvers try to solve the disparition of six men in Ennis:
When the long winter night falls in Ennis, Alaska, the six men that operate the Tsalal Arctic Research Station vanish without a trace. To solve the case, Detectives Liz Danvers (Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Reis) will have to confront the darkness they carry in themselves, and dig into the haunted truths that lie buried under the eternal ice.
Issa Lopez will serve as writer, showrunner and director. Lopez and Foster are also serving as executive producters alongside Barry Jenkins, Adele Romanski, Mark Ceryak, Alan Page Arriaga, Anonymous Content, Mari Jo Winkler, Matthew McConaughey, Woody Harrelson, Cary Joji Fukunaga and Nic Pizzolatto.
