The Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) has released the nominations for its second annual TV Awards, recognizing a wide variety of television achievements across streaming platforms and broadcast/cable.
HBO’s limited drama series Scenes From a Marriage has left its mark on the list with five nominations.

Scenes From a Marriage, which is written, directed, and executive produced by Hagai Levi, is a modern adaptation of Ingmar Bergman’s classic Swedish miniseries. It follows the story of Mira (Jessica Chastain), a confident, ambitious tech executive left unfulfilled by her marriage, and Jonathan (Oscar Isaac), an accommodating, hyper-intellectual philosophy professor desperate to keep their relationship intact. The series flips the script on traditional gender roles to explore love, hatred, desire, monogamy, marriage, and divorce through the lens of a contemporary American couple.
