It is hard to believe that we are at the halfway point to the holiday season! To celebrate, Disney has released some special sneak peeks. This will give guests a taste of what they will be able to expect this Christmas season at Walt Disney World.
The spectacular holiday party will come to The Most Magical Place on Earth for 24 select nights, starting the Christmas season early on November 8 and continuing through December 22. If you want to attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, remember this is a separately ticketed event. This means your normal day park ticket will not get you into the event. The MVMCP will be after normal park hours, and guests will get to enjoy the Magic Kingdom for an evening of holiday merriment.
During this celebration, there will be many fun and exciting holiday activities for guests to take part in. Cinderella Castle will showcase Mickey and his friends for an extravaganza! The show will begin with medleys of holiday music over the years. Then see some of your favorite characters show their Christmas spirit with dance performances. To close out, guests will get to enjoy a sparkling spectacle of fireworks over Magic Kingdom, complete with castle projections, fireworks, and seasonal songs.
Mickey calls upon his famous friend Santa Claus to join in on the fun of the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade! This parade will march down Main Street, showcasing all our favorite Disney characters dressed in their holiday best. Mickey and friends aren’t the only ones that get a special dose of yuletide cheer. Several attractions like Jungle Cruise, Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, and Mad Tea Party will get special holiday magic.
If you prefer to rock around the Christmas tree, then there will be some special events for you. In Tomorrowland at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café, guests will be able to join some friends from the North Pole for an intergalactic dance party. While in Tomorrowland, stop by the Rockettower Plaza stage for A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas Show. Families with younger kids will be excited to know that Disney Junior has their own celebration. Stop by Storybook Circus to join in the fun at Disney Junior Jingle Jam and boogie with Disney Junior characters.
Special snacks are synonymous with the holiday season and especially when it comes to the Disney Parks. Santa Claus isn’t the only one who enjoys eating cookies at Christmas. MVMCP guests will be able to indulge in cookies and hot cocoa that are complimentary at special locations throughout Magic Kingdom. Other special Christmas snacks will be available in the parks for a limited time and will be announced closer to the holiday season.
