The date that all Stranger Things fans are waiting for is July 1! That is when all the guessing and theorizing of what will happen ends and the new episodes are released. Netflix fed our anticipation today with a trailer for season 4 volume 2 of the hit series.

With the words “You can’t stop this now” being uttered by an unknown voice, I think it’s safe to say viewers are in for a wild ride with volume 2. We won’t spoil volume one, but with the heart-stopping ending of the first half, fans are desperate for more of our Hawkins gang. The ending scene perfectly set up what our heroes will face in volume 2.

This trailer was just enough of a tease to make the wait for the second part of the season more difficult. It starts with Eleven looking at what seems to be a gateway to the Upside Down. Then we jump to our group in Hawkins fully in the Upside Down in different situations. Some clips show Dustin in defense mode while Max seems to be trapped. We also see Hopper looking at tanks filled with creatures that all seem familiar. The ending shot of Vecna with an outstretched hand is enough to send chills down your spine. The beginning of this season truly knocked it out of the park and took the show to some of its darkest moments. We know the completion of the season will continue to build and bring it to an amazing end.

This trailer just furthered amped up the already high expectations for the rest of season four. Volume two of the series will be available to binge watch July 1. All previous seasons of Stranger Things are currently available to stream on Netflix. Check out our episodic recaps of Stranger Things 4 here.
