Netflix Releases First Look for ‘Wednesday’

As part of Netflix’s Geeked Week, the streaming platform has released a first-look at their upcoming The Addams Family universe series, Wednesday.

Wednesday stars Jenna Ortega in the title role, alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman, Gwendoline Christie, Christina Ricci and more. The series is a coming-of-age comedy, written by Al Gough and Miles Millar and directed by Burton, that will follow Wednesday Addams during her years at Nevermore Academy. It’s described as a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery – which of course is only fitting with a director such as Burton.

While an exact release date has yet to be announced, the first look does reveal that the series will make its way to the platform sometime this fall. Stay tuned with Nerds & Beyond as more developments for this series are unveiled.
