Samoa Joe to Play Sweet Tooth in ’Twisted Metal’

As revealed by Deadline, AEW wrestler Samoa Joe is set to recur in Peacock’s Twisted Metal series as Sweet Tooth. It is a dual role with Will Arnett also voicing the character.

Twisted Metal is a half-hour action-comedy about motor-mouthed outsider John Doe (Anthony Mackie) who is offered a chance at a better life — only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland. With the help of Quiet (Stephanie Beatriz), he’ll face many dangers and destructions, including an agent of chaos in clown form, Sweet Tooth, who drives an ice cream truck.

Neve Campbell, Mike Mitchell, Tahj Vaughans, Lou Beatty Jr., Thomas Hayden Church, and Richard Cabral also star in the series.

Haley joined the Nerds and Beyond team in 2019 as a Writer and Editor. Her main fandoms include Criminal Minds, Wrestling, and The Walking Dead. You can find her on Twitter @haleyanne_.
